I bring you a Banking Career! For this career to show up in game, you’ll need Nraas Careers Mod.

Only the Base Game and Late Night are needed for this career to work as intended. The career was made with patch 1.29 and it works with patch 1.69.

The career is written in English and supports French, Czech, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, German, Swedish, Spanish (Standard and Mexican), Polish and Russian translations. I’ll include translation instructions at the end.

The career is based at the Business and Journalism office. To change the designated rabbithole to suit your own requirements, I have a tutorial HERE for you to follow. It has ten levels and focuses on the Logic and Charisma skills.
There are no uniforms for this career but I will be adding some in the future.

Your sim may receive a bonus on Snowflake Day if Seasons is installed.
There is no boss for level 10 of the career. For other levels, Bosses can be controlled using Master Controller.
There is one custom tone:
Greet Customers, which builds the Charisma skill.

Career Levels

1. Switchboard Operator ~ You’ve got to start somewhere! It’s your job to operate telephone switchboards and consoles to connect, hold, transfer and disconnect telephone calls, provide information to assist clients or refer them to the appropriate departments.

2. Filing Clerk ~ You manage all databases and records, clearing out outdated records and creating new entries as needed. You answer all questions about the company database, files and records. You may even be required to fax and photocopy from time to time.

3. Cashier ~ As a cashier, you are responsible for meeting the clients face-to-face when they’re making deposits. On occasion, you may be required to answer general queries and make appointments. Keep a smile on your face and a cheery outlook and you’ll do just fine.

4. Stockbroker ~ You’re making the customer’s money work for them. You develop investment plans based on a specific client’s needs, maintain records of investments each of your clients makes, you monitor transactions related to investments and review financial reports. Work on your charisma and keep that all important smile!

5. Junior Manager ~ Your first management position! You’re on your way to the top! Keep going, you’re halfway there. You keep an eye on the employees below you and make sure they’re doing their job to the best of their ability and report your findings to the Senior Managers.

6. Personal Banker ~ As a Personal Banker, you give that personal touch in helping the public manage their finances. You open their bank accounts, discuss their options and answer any questions they may have.

7. Personal Banker (Business) ~ You’re giving that personal touch in helping business manage their finances. You open their bank accounts, discuss options with them and maybe even talk to their accountants. Just don’t forget that all important smile! You may also secure new businesses for the bank, which will put you in high esteem with your boss.

8. Senior Manager ~ More money means more responsibility. Now, you’re managing the Junior Managers and making sure they’re not getting too big for their boots but also making sure they have the right resources to do their jobs. Make sure the employees are happy and keep their morale up.

9. Branch Manager ~ You’re the head of your branch. All the Senior managers report to you and you’re in charge of your branch of the bank. You keep the image of the branch positive by representing the branch at organisational meetings in the community.

10. Area Manager ~ As the Area Manager, you show the community that your bank is the best there is. Keep the image positive by keeping the employee morale up, representing the bank at meetings with the community, government officials and the employees. You still work long hours but the satisfaction you gain is worth every second.
